Care Manager Planning Meeting
Have specific concerns about your parent, spouse, or partner but don’t need ongoing care management? Our trained masters-level Care Managers can meet with you in our office or your home for brief, time-limited meetings to discuss your concerns about senior housing, home care, transportation, memory loss, socialization, family mediation, symptoms of depression, Medicare, or any other issues. Consultations start at $130 per hour, with a sliding scale available.
In-Home Assessment
If you live far away from your parents or are having difficulty caring for an aging parent, spouse, or partner, our trained masters-level Care Managers can provide a complete assessment, care plan, and monitoring to help ensure that your loved one can continue living safely in their own home. JFCS/East Bay offers a sliding scale for services.
Counseling and Support Groups
Our licensed social workers and psychologists can offer older adults counseling in our office. Medicare, private insurance, and private pay are accepted. We also offer a long-distance caregivers support group and a bereavement support group.
Holocaust Survivor Services
JFCS/East Bay provides care management, financial assistance, counseling, and much more for the 270 Holocaust survivors in our community.
